Happy Valentines Day !!
A curiously placed celebration before spring filled with the promises of love to another.
The industries work overtime bringing in dopamine inducing pleasures and sensual delights at our finger tips to make it a remarkable experience for ourselves through the satisfaction of others.
Chocolates, desserts, yummy dinners, beautiful flowers, enticing lingerie, spectacular gifts and lovely worded greeting cards are not hard to find during this festive season.
Yet I often wonder that we try to please some one else with these adorations and hopefully they reciprocate yet do we not feel the same towards our selves.
We attempt to connect to others from our heart space to their heart space yet what about our own connection with our heart space?
How can we expect others to love us when we do not love ourselves.
Valentines Day is a reminder of self love first, then the other person.
If we do not have a full heart of love for self, what can we hope to offer some one else with shallow material gifts, words.
On that note with my heart full, I offer you all my love on this joyous day.
