There was a man who was walking and suddenly fell into a hole. He tried for days to climb out and could not.
Till one day a priest was passing by and noticed him in the hole.
” Hey Father can you help me I have fallen and can’t get out?”
” Sure ” so he wrote a prayer on a piece of paper and threw it in the hole, “recite this prayer”
Then one day a doctor was passing by and noticed him in the hole.
” Hey doc can you help me I have fallen and can’t get out ?”
” Sure” so he wrote a prescription and threw it down the hole.
Then one day a friend was passing by and noticed him in the hole.
” Hey can you help me I have fallen and can’t get out”
” Sure” said the friend and jumped into the hole
” What are you doing ? Why did you jump in? Now we are both stuck here”
” yes” replied the friend, ” but I have been down here before, and I know the way out.”

Each of us have suffered through the darkness in some way.
Each of us have ways of coming out of the darkness through experiences.
Each of us can help someone with their despair and troubles.
I try everyday to help.
And many times I am offered help by others with my own troubles.
