Waking up in the morning as they eyes open and the reality of where they are sets in, there are those who will say, “ Shit I am still here “. That occurs when they feel tremendous pain. Not just physical but of the heart and mind. The mind wanders trying to grasp their life.
The pain remains as the only feeling, hoping for death. So then what remains? Is it a post mortem? Yet pain means that we are alive and not dead. When we feel we know we are alive and hav yet to face all the hardships and challenges that come forth.
Take it away. Take it away. We all want the pain to go. Yet it lingers. For in the crucible we wonder how did we get here? How did all the walls close in? How do I get out. The journey of every soul is to endure pain. No soul is devoid of feeling it, not even divinity in human form. Why? It is the pain that transforms. It is the pain that heals. Ironic.
It is the walk through the pain that brings about the relief, not escaping it. The anger, the resentments, the betrayals all lead to the inevitable pain that is to be experienced. But yet again why? To grow. We generally do not grow without pain. Muscles cannot build unless they are broken down with soreness and pain. The rest does the healing. That same rest that is needed to go through the pain with faith, surrender and courage.
Pain is the pause between growth cycles. The catalyst too. The greater the pain, the greater the growth. The deeper it cuts the faster the growth. Yet all pain has one magic property. It is also what is needed to heal. Any wound, mental, physical, emotional or metaphysical all needs pain to heal itself.
Pain is the hammer that breaks the shell and the release of what is inside the shell. Pain transforms. We may ask as to the nature of the pain and when does it leave us. Pain dissipates when its task is done. When there is nothing left to be catabolized.
It may feel raw, angry, uncertain, hateful. It may feel like being lost, abandoned with out a compass for direction. However in the darkness there is a light that can be seen. Shimmering about in the storm of chaos. And one day that chaos leads to creation and the path out of the darkness.
A breath of fresh air returns to our body and nervous system when we wake up again on some morning in the distant future, and say “ Thank you Universe for allowing me to be here, it is going to be a great day.” That is when the pain has gone, and the journey of the heart truly begins.
……………..
I love you
