When we have a loss of something that we are attached to, be it a job, finances, relationships, family, whatever it may be, we feel lost. Like a boat adrift in the ocean without the oars to move forward or the ability to navigate, it is scary and anxiety provoking.
It is in fact not just the loss of the version of who we were just prior to the event, but the inability to see who we are going to become that is more nerve racking. The transition phase is always hard from who we are being and to whom we are becoming. Humans enjoy safety and security. That is what an identity gives us. Who we are in a family unit, child, parent, spouse. Who we are based on our occupation. Who we are based on race, gender, age, all defines and creates an identity.
When the loss comes we choose to run away and hide from that experience as if to anesthetize the emotions and turmoil within. It is the vulnerability that we hate to dive into. We want to escape the world. SO lost in the ocean of illusion we wander, and choose not to be transparent. After all how can we handle the world’s emotions and opinions when we cannot handle our own.
The ego struggles its own spiraling death.
No ego, no identity.
No identity, no safety.
Yet we have experienced this since the time of our birth. The separation from Godhead. That is what brings our feelings of insecurity and forces us to create identities, in order to fit in with the world that we are in. We remain too scared to live, and too unwilling to die, and so perpetuate the shadow of our lie.
It is only when we are unplugged from the human race.
No illusion. No identity.
Broken. That we glimpse the light within. When all the lanterns we carry about the garden of life have been dimmed and extinguished, we come across the true light. That is who we are. Yet it is only in the darkness, can our light be revealed.
Empty. Only then are we ready to be played as an instrument of the divine will. The sweet song of the soul then begins.
The loss is the catalyst to our growth and self evolution. It is coded within our epigenetics to be expressed, and cocreated to be experienced, for that it what launches our magic. Not sitting comfortable sipping tea in our perfectly manufactured fantasy.
Trust, faith and surrender pave the pathway home.
……………..
I love you
