Funny story.
So the other day I had taken the kiddo for a movie. We stood in the concessions line for the obligatory popcorn and movie related snacks. As the line moved at a glacial place I could hear a variety of conversations from the family in front of me and the young couple behind me. Complaining, wanting, disagreements were abound. But here is one dialogue that I thought was most interesting.
The couple behind me were on a date night. The girl wanted a pepperoni pizza. Unfortunately in the trays under the hot lamps there were only small cheese pizzas. The boyfriend offered other snacks, without much success.
“ would you like some chocolate?
“ No I want the pepperoni pizza” she would say.
“ would you like some soda or icecream?”
“ No I want the pepperoni pizza” was the reply.
“ would like chips or candy snacks?” He tried again
“ No I want the pepperoni pizza” she replied persistently.
“ I see there is only cheese pizza, would you like that”
“ No I want the pepperoni pizza”
so this went on for a bit. In fact in my mind I was wishing that this argument would stop but amusingly I wished that they would just make her the pizza. My eyes started to furtively look over the counter to see if I could help this process along and find a counter clerk and just ask. No sooner had I thought of opening my mouth when I got to the front of the line, I suddenly saw a cinema representatives walk over and planted 3 pepperoni pizzas on the hot lamp tray. I was shocked. The girl behind me picked it up effortlessly and smiled..
I turned over to her and her boyfriend and said,
“ WOW I was just thinking it would be great if someone made you a pepperoni pizza but this is the greatest example of focussed manifestation. You had your mantra, your intention was clear and the universe just made you what you wanted”
They both laughed.
“ Maybe next time you should wish for a million dollars” I said as I turned around and moved towards the counter. Finally it was my time to spend on my intended popcorn.
But I could not stop thinking about this incident throughout the movie. The law of manifesting requires a few ingredients. A Clarity of thought. A vision without distraction. A clear ask of the universe to make it happen. And a belief that it will. This young lady had checked off all the boxes.
Thought: Pepperoni pizza
Vision: seeing that it shows up at the tray stand. ( And not being sidetracked or distracted by other choices of snacks).
Clear Ask : I want a pepperoni pizza ( repeatedly)
Belief: I want a pepperoni pizza, and by repeating herself she affirmed the belief that she would get it.
BOOM ! Pepperoni pizza !!!
Each of us have experienced this feeling of manifestation. Each of us are co-creators of our reality and work with the universe to navigate our lives to create what we want, what we desire and choose to see happen. Whether it is in health, wealth or in relationships. We literally are makers of our own reality. When it is a good reality we may take credit for it. But when it seems to be bad, we say it is bad life karma or blame others or outside supernatural authorities, yet never accepting that perhaps it was bad choices and intentions.
Regardless of the judgement of an experience, we still manifest. We each are light in human form with the powers of creator energy. Just as Source imagines us and wills us into existence including everything in the universe, we have the ability to manifest and will into existence our local reality. Thought, vision, ask or command, and belief. The more we focus and bend that energy like through a lens with clarity the greater our ability to manifest exactly what we choose.
This is how the universe grows and learns about itself. It does this through us, and we learn about ourselves through the universal energies of manifestation. Some call it magic. I call it using the energy of love, the fabric of the cosmos in motion.
