Would you stop something if you knew its end?
Would a mother abort its child if she knew that it would one day grow up to be a murderer?
Would you take a job that you knew that it was killing your dreams each day, and could replace you within a day if you were to die?
Would one get into a relationship if they knew it would end in self ruin and tears?
Would you eat bad unhealthy food if you knew that it would lead to ill health and disease?
Would we do habits like smoke or drink if we knew that one day it would give us cancer?
There is no answer, except to the obvious of NO, or would it ? It all depends on the perspectives along the way. Hindsight is always 20/20. But living in the moment and experiencing that life event is the name of the game. Living. If we knew the outcome of everything, what would be the point of doing anything.
Like exploring the happiness as well as the challenges of having that relationship. Or taking care of that child growing up and giving him or her the care they needed. This is a tough one. For me it would make sense if I knew about alcohol or drugs or smoking. Yet others will do it regardless of the risks once addicted, and we do not know the circumstances of why they started in the first place.
Such is the nature of life. Throw all the ingredients in the blender, shake it up, and hope to God that the meal comes out good.
Yet why just look at the negative. What if we would take that risk for a career change, take that opportunity to meet someone, try to learn a new skill, taste something new. We do not know if all becomes a successful or positive outcome. In the end it is the not knowing of the journey that leads to the excitement of life is all about. A celebration of experiences, with the finale of trophy prize of death anyway, but perhaps leaving a legacy of love, light and wisdom behind with all those that we are fortunate enough to share this adventure with.
……………..
I love you
