July 4th Independance Day

 

A time of pomp celebration with good friends and close family getting together around full tables of delicious home made aromatous foods, enjoyable strong spirits and festive decorations remembering a freedom from tyranny. Fireworks light up the night sky and with booms of joy and with gaping mouths and widen open eyes the next generation watches these loud explosions with awe stuck wonder.

 

This day is about remembering freedom. Yet it is about alot more than simple physical freedom from an island empire. It is about…..

Freedom to create with passion

 

Freedom to unconditionally love

 

Freedom to accept others and oneself

 

Freedom to explore the depths of our hearts

 

Freedom to unravel the secrets of our minds

 

Freedom to discover the connections with our Source

 

Freedom to simply exist without persecution or prejudice

 

Freedom to be non judgmental or not be judged

 

Freedom to live.

 

To me this is what this day is all about.
