I am sure you have heard of the famous line between genius and insanity. Many great people have walked that line. To some they have crossed it into one camp or the other, namely genius or insanity. Yet to be able to walk such a line takes patience and inspiration.

There is another such line that I have identified. This line divides grit and stupidity. Each side possesses its own characteristics. With the former, it requires hard work, discipline, practice and consistency. This all leads to perseverance and grit. Stupidity is not the opposite but it requires a significant level of ignoring the risk similar to grit but with a more carefree flair.

Genius/insanity and Grit/stupidity split the personalities of these individuals but it is those who can carefully walk the line that create the success and achievements that they choose.

It is hard for most of us to hold the line. Everything that is sacred lies in the center point of all creation. Take music for example. The feeling that we get when we love a piece of music is not in fact the notes but the pauses in between. In the swing of the pendulum the time that we seek is not at the extremes but in the stillness of the center point. All energy is birthed from the zero point of the wave form, and not at its peak or trough.

The line is the point of balance which is the potential of all things. Tip to one side and the energy becomes manifest in that form with the possibility of it being extinguished. While it holds its complete form in the state of rest. Creation and destruction crosses the line, and yet eventually dissipates to return back to center, as in the end all things do based on their behavior in their natural state.

The difference between genius and stupidity however is simple, genius knows its limits.

I have been known to cross the lines of grit and stupidity on more than one occasion yet I choose to walk and hold the line as often as I can, with love.

…………….

I love you
