Do you remember my cooking attempt a few weeks ago? Well quick recap and progress report. I made breakfast ! It was scary, nerve racking but I got it done. That whole day, I could not stop thinking about what I could possible make for dinner. I shared some thoughts with the wifey. I needed some ingredients. She motivated me to do some shopping and prepare what I had in mind. And so I did. I went to the grocery store with a list of food items, came back gleaming that I had done my own shopping. I began to prepare the chopping of vegetable and sauté the chicken. 45 minutes later, the family enjoyed a fabulous creation out of thin air.

Mushrooms, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, spring onions, beans, broccoli, baked potato, pita bread with honey butter and lemon garlic chicken ! My first experiment went well. This led to another dinner a few days later, with GF pasta, truffle sauce, chicken, corn, peas. This was followed by a valiant effort at making bread. Since then I have made numerous breakfasts with sunny side eggs ( I got that one finally) with bacon, ham and avocado toast. Kids have enjoyed the meals, that is a good test of approval for sure. I getting better, faster and more creative.

What is the point of this horn toting? Well simple. Once we have an inspired idea or thought or word, it must be followed by an inspired action. And not just once, but repeatedly till it becomes second nature without fear, but with confidence and enthusiasm. It is this habit that makes it into a love for what we do, and doing what we love. Rinse and repeat. Just to be clear I am not planning on becoming a chef, but the intention was to overcome a fear and become self sufficient. I am on way to that goal.

I have to admit I am still excited about the possibilities, for they are endless and so am I.

………….

I love you
