The world stands still with its gaze up at the heavens for this unique moment as Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, Neptune and Uranus all align. A astronomer’s paradise some would say, yet for most of us we have been feeling all sorts of emotions, upheavals, calmness as our physiologies are trying to align with the electromagnetic influences of the planets and stars.

The planets do their thing. Round and round or rather elliptically round the sun. We do our thing. The question I am invited to ask on this powerful day is what is my thing? You see, it is not just about celestial bodies lining up, but about it is about us becoming more aligned with who we are as well. Mind, body, spirit AND the heart. Do we dare to become authentic and in sync with our soul purpose? What is that purpose, and for most of us we drudge about our day and lifetime without ever really understanding what that question even means, let alone ever getting an answer?

We too are celestial bodies orbiting, but what are we orbiting in our lives. Money? Relationships? Career? Chores? Family? Health? what is the end goal and what are we trying to achieve. A soul mission or a mundane fantasy of perfection that is within our control?

This energetic tsunami is bringing up more questions than the typical clarity of my full moon musings. Yet perhaps this is exactly what is needed. A big cosmic whammy upside the head to get grounded, to listen, to contemplate and then begin. Sometimes it is necessary albeit mandatory to empty out the teapot and start a fresh brew. It is best to let go of the old, everything and start a new. To let go of the past and relearn the lessons to be harnessed in this lifetime.

This is what this alignment means to me. I have planned with lists and diaries, post-its ( I am a major planner) and tried to control my destiny with masterplans. It is a trait that has helped me so far, but for the next part of my journey I am trekking where I have not gone before, perhaps no one has. It is my heart that I am choosing to trust to guide me. Surrendering the control stick to the divine driver. With the planetary energies behind me I will launch with one step at a time and leap to fulfill my mission, and let the rest become history.

Perhaps it is time for you to do something similar, when you are ready. Each of us are asked to travel this journey of the soul alone, but we are not alone. We have the wisdom of our guides to whisper to us and our intuition to navigate the night where there is no light. Because we are the light and can only be seen in the dark. Feel the magic of the planets. They are our guides too. Listen to their advices, allow our heart to pulse at the heartbeat of each of the planets ( yes each planet has its own heartbeat and breath and song that they sing). Align, align, align spirituality to physicality. This is what it means to have integrity and authenticity with the invite heart space. With love.
